Meet the Team

Katy has been a Geography teacher for 12 years. In that time she has been fortunate to teach in a range of schools and with different responsibilities, all of which have helped and continue to help shape her as a teacher. Katy currently teaches Geography at Thamesmead School. After gaining her PGCE from St Mary's University college, Katy completed a Masters degree in leading innovation and change in education which has helped fuel her passion for exploring and implementing new ideas in the classroom. Katy is passionate about teaching Geography and keeping up to date with new approaches backed by research. 

Katy's career highlights include supporting new teachers into the profession and being part of the journey that new Geography teachers will take into their own classrooms.
