Meet the Team
Liz Wylie
i2i SCITT Director
Liz is one of the i2i Teaching Partnership Directors. She has a wealth of experience in the education sector, but like many of our trainees - her career initially took a different path before deciding to join the teaching profession.
Liz started as a music teacher, then went on to hold various senior leadership roles for over 20 years, working in a wide variety of schools. Prior to joining the i2i Teaching Partnership team, Liz was a Head Teacher in a successful 11-16 school in Hampshire. Liz has always taught throughout all of her roles, relishing her time in the classroom. This has always enabled her to reevaluate her own practice and to enjoy inspiring students through her subject.
As an i2i Director, Liz feels privileged to work with all those in the i2i Partnership and is hugely passionate about giving the trainees the most professional and supportive training. She combines leading and managing all the i2i team, whether the office staff or those who support trainees in their placement schools. She ensures the training we offer and the whole experience with i2i runs smoothly and is of the highest quality in all respects. As well as leading the training session at the Wildern Training Centre, Liz is often out and about visiting the team across the partner schools or presenting at our information events. There’s no one more passionate about the impact a teacher can make on the lives of the students.
